Napoli, a Sheffield
A Neapolitan caffè and deli in the city centre, and what 748 reviewers say about it.
Caffè Tucci describes itself as a Neapolitan caffè and deli. The Surrey Street shop sits in the middle of Sheffield city centre, between the Winter Garden and Tudor Square, a couple of minutes from the Crucible and the Lyceum.
The counter is the reason people come back: ciabatta and focaccia sandwiches big enough that reviewers box half to take home, the option to build your own, tiramisu, cannoli, croissants and a range of Italian pastries, with coffee and chai to go with them.
Out of 748 Google reviews, 291 mention the friendly staff and 43 more the welcome. There is a second Caffè Tucci at 655 Ecclesall Road.
Staff come up by name, too. Julia Gregersten wrote that “Maria gave us some brilliant recommendations.” Ellie-Mia Kaszics noticed that staff kept asking if everything was okay, and when she couldn’t finish, “they happily provided us a box.”
The menu is long. As Debbie Harrison put it: “Take you time to study the menu. So many options!”
